@Kyle Young: Let's chat at Socon....

@Kyle Young: Hi Kyle. That would be great to speak to you about moms - I love the MTW community, by the way!

Hi, Kyle. I do academic writing for the Web (online learning, teaching with technology), and I develop content for my online courses. For fun, I contribute to various travel sites. I have a blog in the works that actually started as a way to show my students how to set up their blogs. They've had some great success! Two were contacted by the authors whose works they reviewed, one got on Paula Zahn Now on CNN, and one was quoted in the AJC. I love helping students think strategically and achieve their goals, and I'm looking forward to reporting back to them about what I learn at SoCon.

@Alyson Hoag: Alyson, what's the news from Sundance????

@Traci: LWL is taking over the world!

@Traci: Traci, let's be sure to connect with Angela Sat. am! Dying to meet her in person.

@Kyle Young: I am in Atlanta and can't wait to see you! How Fun!

@Angela Stalcup: LWL is taking over the conference! See you there!

@Alyson Hoag: Look forward to seeing you at the event!

@Angela Stalcup: Angela, thanks! I'm going to be there early on Sat so let's meet over OJ!

@Traci: Looking forward to seeing you this weekend. Ladies Who Launch is definitely going to represent!

@Kyle Young: I remember you from the Live Event. I loved your comments and I love your site. I look forward to seeing you and Traci this weekend.

@Laura McGrath: Laura, what topics do you write about? We are Multi-TaskingWoman.com

@Laura Tanner: Hi Laura, would love to chat about our online community- Multi-TaskingWoman.com

@Sharina Richardson: Sharina, would love to share input with you re: our online community Multi-TaskingWoman.com - more than just moms, but many are!

@Traci: Traci, let me know when you get into Atlanta. This is going to be great fun!

@Karen Russell: Karen, would love to get your input on when to make a major PR push for Multi-TaskingWoman.com! I'm a UGA grad, too.

@Angela Stalcup: Angela, we share LWL! Let's connect at SoCon. Traci will be coming with me...

@Jacqui Chew: Jacqui, looking forward to meeting you, too, and exploring ways to get Multi-TaskingWoman growing even faster!

@Brian Jaudon: Hi Brian, looking forward to seeing you and Elaine Sat at SoCon. Can't wait to introduce you to Mary Plumstead! Your shared HR experiences will be a perfect match I think.

@Jeffri Epps: Hi Jeffri,

We have some shared interest and business offerings--leadership development and executive coaching are part of my work as well. Let's meet at the conference if you're interested.

Brian Jaudon

@Steve Miller: Steve, thanks for your note. I'm certainly open to meeting. I was talking to a school system today about the possibility to delivering emotional intelligence training to their teachers. Let's compare notes, interests, and directions.

The Third Way

@Karen Russell: Karen I am looking forward to seeing you!

@Steve Miller: Hi Steve:

Actually I am setting up a Ning social networking site that I will unveil at the SoCon08 conference to keep the conversation going. That would be the prefect place to to "recommend their favorite sources (books, blogs, forums, etc.) to learn more about social networking." Thanks for the great idea.

@Steve Miller: Hi Steve,

I look forward to meeting you at SoCon this weekend!

@Leonard Witt: Would be neat if attendees could recommend their favorite sources (books, blogs, forums, etc.) to learn more about social networking. I'm currently reading The New Rules of Marketing and PR: How to Use Press Releases, Blogs, Podcasting, Viral Marketing & Online Media to Reach Buyers Directly (2007). A great, practical read. Would be super to leave SoCon with a plan for further study, perhaps in the form of a list put on several of SoCon marketing guru sites.

@Stephanie Roberts: Stephanie, I'd like to meet you at the conference to learn more about what you know! many thanks..elaine.

@Jacqui Chew: Jacqui,

I look forward to catching up with you at the conference.

@Joe Reger, Sr.: Sure, let's chat.

Well golly, we're gonna have to do something about your friends. :) Or maybe we could run a series of Social Surveys that interest you ... are u up 4 that?

@George Daniels: Sup George. I look forward to seeing ya and catching up.

Good seeing you here too... ;-)

@Mike Neumeier: Good seeing you here!

@Wilma L. Simons: Wilma:

Will be great to see you again! Want to hear all about your practice.

@Joe Reger, Sr.: Don't know who puts together those surveys, but I wish my FB friends would quit sending them to me!!!

@Selah Abrams: Hi Selah:

Have you checked out the new Ning social network for Wired Journalists at http://mediageeks.ning.com/ ? More than 700 journalists interested in digital media have signed up in a week or so.

@Timothy Moenk: Yes, I totally need to attend one of your NetSquared meetups.

@David Cohen: great! i look forward to talking with you.

@Will: Will,

I'm on the advisory board for a non-profit, prowomen.org, so I'm always interested in finding new approaches to help get the word out. I also know a couple of entrepreneurs who have developed tools with non-profits in mind. Let's chat.

-David

@Patrick D. Gaul: Hi Patrick. Looking forward to seeing you. Heard about the great work you are doing at Tescom. Enjoy,
Judy

@Judy Mod: Hi Judy! Hope Naples was fun, enlightening..:)
See you at SoCon....if not sooner.
Best, Rodney

@Judy Mod: Judy,

Got your note, but left a message for me from me. I think it is a glitch in the system, but anyway, I'd be delighted to meet during SoCon'08

@Robert Persaud: Hi Robert,
We 've made some stides in the aggregation space, checkout netIDz.com ; there is a short video demo on the site explaining the model.
We 're entering beta in Feb.

@Will: I'm totally interested in figuring out how to combine the ideas of participatory democracy with everything we're learning about 21st organizational structures through social media!

I also run the local NetSquared group. Check it out!: http://netsquared.meetup.com/8

@Robert Persaud: Love your question! Here's a possible strong beginning at a potential answer: http://dataportability.org/

@Shelby Highsmith: Hi Shelby:

Welcome and be sure to bring your MTV gear.

For those who read this post, Shelby is Georgia's MTV citizen journalist for the 2008 presidential campaign year. He wrote a nice post about what it is like to be a member of the MTV
Street Team '08
.

@Will: Hi Will:

Check bios around here at Crowdvine. Also check out the participants list at www.SoCon08.com.

It is a bit behind, the list has 100, we are now at 170, so we will update it soon again this week. http://socon08.com/participants/

Any nonprofit folks, here at Crowdvine give Will a heads up. He brings the power of a Ga Tech computer/social media grad student with ideas to the table.

@Leonard Witt: Will there be any attendees with an interest in non-profit enterprise? Are there any social entrepreneurs in the bunch?

@Timothy Moenk: I appreciate your interest in getting involved and look forward to meeting with you during the conference or possibly prior.

@Chris Heuer: That's a great question: "What gets you out of bed in the morning?" Hopefully for all of us it's what we're doing most of the day. (I'm a lucky one. We just completed another acquisition and-darn it--I'm learning to knit. And they call that work!) Looking forward to your keynote and meeting you at SoCon08!

@Hal Schlenger: LOL on sailing solving all problems--or at leats putting them in perspective! Looking forward to seeing you in February. We'll pretend we're on the lake.

@Michael Seneadza: Hello Michael :

I am still using Favebot.com as my information RSS feed for all things having to do with public and civic journalism.

For everyone else, Michael --TraderMike -- has been blogging about investmentsfor some time. Now he developed Favebot.com. Here is his explanation:

“FaveBot” is short for “Favorites Robot”. It’s a software agent (robot or bot) that works for you by continuously searching for “stuff” that you want to track. That “stuff” could be any of the following: events in your area; new music, DVD or book releases; news articles; blog posts; photos; podcasts; videos.

Check it out. Michael and Deanna Sutton will be hosting tables on Friday night, Feb. 8 on Web Magazines.

@Yassine Sbiti: I'm very interested in hearing your thoughts on Data Portability and related topics! Definitely a subject area that's near and dear to my heart. :)

@Deanna Sutton: Weclome Deanna:

I know your table is going to be great on Friday night at Maggiano's. For those, who have not seen it, you should take a look at Clutch Magazine. Ask more about it at the Friday night Web Magazines table.

This is a link to a financial forecast for 2008 (considering the energy situation) that I wrote recently, that has been quite popular.

@Yassine Sbiti: What is your motivation and vision for netIDz?

@Gail Tverberg: I look forward to learning about your involvement in communicating the energy crisis.

@Gail Tverberg: Yes, Gail, here will be a Continental breakfast. I just put in the order yesterday for Einstein bagels, muffins, juice etc. You bring the conversation and the ideas, ok?

@Will: I would be happy to meet you. I am not planning on coming to the dinner (at least at this point), but will be at the campus early for the breakfast (assuming socon08 has one again this year).

Lance & Leonard, looking forward to seeing you both.
Judy, hope to connect with you.

Project365 is a flickr group with thousands of members from around the world. The goal is to shoot and post one photo to represent each day for 365 consecutive days. I started on Jan. 2 and have been loving the project. It's really pushing me to become a better photographer, and I've connected with quite a few super talented folks in the process. I think it'll be quite cool to look back at the 365 set of images as a reflection of the year on Jan. 01, 2009. Flickr makes me happy.

@Stephanie Roberts: Hi Stephanie:

As I was surfing around this sight I saw your blog post for Project 365. Very cool. For those who don't know about it, and I didn't, the idea is to shoot a photo every day, and post it. I am going to blog about this at the PJNet.org. Here is more from Stephanie: http://www.coolpeopleiknow.com/ . Stephanie, please, tell us more.

Hi Judy, I look forward to meeting you at SoCon in a few weeks!

@Sherry Heyl: What are you folks planning for an agenda this year?

Yup, that's the power of SoCon!!!

@Grayson Daughters: Hi Grayson,
Merging traditional and social media is exactly what we're doing, so I'm interested in being part of the SMC event May 30th--and thrilled to find out about it. Looking forward
